Our clients are a specialist hire company who are looking to recruit a Sales professional to develop their business and promote their product range within the South East / London area. The role is a Regional position which predominantly consists of promoting their full range of hire equipment to construction/civil engineering clients, industrial service companies as well as specialist contractors. The client require someone who has a proven track record within the hire market and who can lead the sales activity, acquire prospects and expand business. You will be responsible for draft proposals, negotiating and closing contracts as wel as working in partnership with customers in order to gain understanding of requirements and deliver solutions to their site/contract needs. The successful candidate would need to be able to influence clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of best fit for their business, quality, price and delivery by managing and interpreting the customer requirements.
A key part of the role is to develop business, potential additional accounts and implement strategies to ensure business and business potential.
Skills required:
Proven track record in developing new business. Ability to develop existing clients and manage accounts successfully. Good background within hire industry (construction/civil engineering) would be ideal.
